Biographical Information:
Barry M. Epstein is a shareholder with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer on the Class Action Litigation Team. A certified civil trial attorney, he has more than thirty years of experience as a trial and appellate lawyer. Mr. Epstein is currently plaintiffs’ co-lead counsel in several class action litigations brought against Health Insurance Companies for improper out-of-network adverse benefit determinations. His broad experience includes product liability, crash worthiness, toxic tort and catastrophic personal injury litigation.
He served as Law Secretary to Hon. Edward Gaulkin, Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, 1962 – 1963. He has published and lectured to trial lawyers and judges on scientific issues and the use of expert testimony in product liability and toxic tort cases. He was co-Author of “New Jersey Product Liability Law,” Butterworth Legal Publishers; “New Jersey Objections at Trial,” Butterworth Legal Publications; Co-Managing Editor of “E-Discovery – A Guide For Corporate Counsel.”
