Biographical Information:
Julia A. López was a summer associate at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer P.A. during the summer of 2005, and joined the firm as an associate on the Mass Tort Class Action Litigation Team in 2007. Upon graduation, Ms. López served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable John E. Wallace, Jr., Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey from 2006-2007.
While attending Rutgers School of Law-Newark, Ms. López was the Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Law Review and President of the Association of Latin American Law Students. Ms. López served as a judicial intern for the Honorable James R. Zazzali, Retired Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey from 2004-2005. She was also a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research & Writing Program, a Clinic Law Student for the Rutgers Community Law Clinic, and a Study Group Facilitator for the Minority Student Program. Ms. López was a Hispanic Bar Association Scholarship Recipient in 2004, 2005, and 2006. During the summer of 2004, she was a summer associate with Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti, LLP.
Ms. López is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America-New Jersey, National Association of Shareholder and Consumer Attorneys, American Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and the National Hispanic Bar Association. She is also a member of the Richard J. Hughes Inn of Court, a Litigation Inn serving Union County.
