Firm News: Wilentz Joins Hyacinth Aids Foundation
Aids Walk
Six representatives from Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer
joined thousands of caring New Jerseyans for a six mile walk
to raise money for the Hyacinth Aids Foundation.
The walk, which took place on May 19, 2002, began and ended
at the Eagleton Institute of the Douglass College Campus of
Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Governor
James E. McGreevey co-chaired the event, along with Emmy award
winner Brenda Blackmon and 7-time Grammy-nominated artist,
India Arie.
The Wilentz firm, the only law firm present, raised $1,600.
Proceeds will help fund the Hyacinth's Services to People
Living with HIV and AIDS; AIDS Education and Prevention, and
A Critical Voice.
